Colby Lund has been a shareholder in the firm since 1989.  He concentrates his practice in defense matters involving construction defect, trucking and auto casualty, and liquor liability law in Minnesota and Wisconsin.  He represents several insurers and self-insured companies relating to trucking, school bus, and premises liability matters.  Colby is recognized for his ability to provide clients with an early evaluation and case-handling strategy to enable them to make informed decisions as to whether a matter should be tried or submitted to ADR.  He is an MSBA Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist and has tried a great number of cases to conclusion with excellent results.  Colby is a qualified mediator with the State of Minnesota and regularly serves as an arbitrator or a mediator in matters at the request of trial lawyers within the legal community.  Colby is also an active member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), and he is the chair of the firm's General Liability Practice Group.
