Kafi Linville joined Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A. in 2007.  She concentrates her practice primarily in the area of construction litigation.  Kafi has extensive experience representing major window manufacturing companies with a focus on litigating moisture intrusion matters.  She also works with clients in the areas of insurance coverage and litigation, product liability, and professional liability.

Since beginning her practice, Kafi has garnered valuable courtroom experience.  She has tried cases at both state and federal courts and successfully argued before the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Prior to entering the legal field, Kafi worked as a police officer for the Duluth Police Department. Following her graduation from William Mitchell College of Law in 2000, Kafi worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Ann L. Alton in Hennepin County District Court.  Kafi then went on to practice law in the area of insurance defense and represented municipalities in civil rights lawsuits in both state and federal court.  Her representation included various law enforcement agencies around the state.
