Shayne joined Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A. as an associate in 2006.  Shayne practices primarily in the areas of automobile litigation (third-party liability, uninsured/underinsured, and no-fault), general liability, including premise liability, and insurance coverage disputes for claims both before and after litigation.  Prior to joining Arthur Chapman, Shayne served as staff counsel to a major insurance company.  She has extensive courtroom experience and has arbitrated and mediated hundreds of cases with excellent results.  Shayne strives to provide her clients with an energetic, efficient, thorough, and cost-effective defense to litigation. 

Shayne also serves as a mentor to law students from William Mitchell College of Law and the University of St. Thomas, and continues to maintain strong ties to west central Minnesota and her hometown of Perham.
