As of March 1, 2010 Ted has been "of Counsel" to the firm following his "retirement" in February 2010. Ted practiced in the area of insurance law for more than 35 years. He has developed a solid reputation as the authoritative figure regarding all issues related to insurance coverage.
Ted has taught insurance law in law schools and has taught an even wider range of insurance practice and litigation subjects for virtually every legal and professional continuing education institution in the state. He is the author/co-author of seven insurance law books, including Minnesota Motor Vehicle Manual, the primary authority of motor vehicle insurance laws in Minnesota. Ted is also frequently called upon to act as a mediator and arbitrator in insurance disputes, chosen by both opposing parties due to his extensive knowledge of and competency in the practice of insurance law. Our firm will continue to benefit by Ted's advice and counsel in all areas of insurance coverage.
