James recently joined Arthur Chapman with more than ten years of experience working with firms in Minnesota and North Dakota. James is an experienced trial lawyer primarily representing declarants, general contractors, and various subcontractors in multi-party construction defect and water intrusion litigation.

James has successfully represented general contractors and subcontractors in trials, arbitrations, and mediations for single-family, multi-family, as well as complex commercial building cases.

James has also gained experience in defending clients in products liability and automobile cases, as well as advised clients regarding insurance coverage issues.

James and his wife Suanne live in Minneapolis and enjoy traveling, golfing, spending time with their dog in the great outdoors, volunteering at various local charities, as well as cheering on all of the local college and professional sporting teams.
