Lindsay Arthur focuses his practice on high exposure and complex litigation. He has more than 40 years of experience in a broad variety of lawsuits including class actions, products liability, medical malpractice defense, intellectual property, securities litigation, and aviation. He has successfully tried approximately 150 jury cases, many of them major, complex, multi-party lawsuits.
Today, his practice focuses principally on the defense of products liability, medical malpractice, and high exposure commercial cases with complex legal and factual issues. His cases are located across the United States where he serves as national coordinating counsel for clients defending serial products liability claims. Many of his cases are document intensive, requiring custom-developed, computer-assisted litigation support services, including document imaging, coding, and abstracting. Some of these systems are believed to be unique within the legal defense community.
Lindsay has published and lectured regularly, especially in the field of products liability. He has authored a comprehensive book on Minnesota Products Liability Law, now in its 17th edition, and has chaired a seminar on products liability law for 15 years.
