Ray Benning is an experienced civil litigator. He has focused his practice on workers' compensation and employment law defense for Minnesota and Iowa. He has defended claims based on occupational disease, asbestos exposure, hearing loss, and permanent and total disability. He continues to counsel employers and insurers on the overlapping issues involving workers' compensation and employment law matters. Ray believes in a proactive approach by educating clients to contain future claims. He also keeps clients abreast of the most recent legislative and case law. Ray is a regular speaker at workers' compensation seminars. Prior to joining the firm in 1994, Ray was associated with the Harry W. Dahl firm in Des Moines, Iowa. While in law school, he interned with the Iowa Industrial Commissioner's office.
