Sally Ferguson has been practicing law at Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A. for more than 20 years. She currently serves as chair of the firm's Professional Liability Practice Group and concentrates her practice in the areas of professional liability, employment law, and complex litigation.

Sally's extensive professional liability experience encompasses virtually all professional services industries ranging from medical, legal, and accounting to architectural, engineering, and real estate.  She represents major insurance companies and self-insured entities including hospitals, accounting firms, and architectural firms in a myriad of issues such as professional negligence, malpractice, and general liability litigation.

Sally also focuses her practice in employment law litigation. She counsels and represents clients regarding issues such as sexual harassment, discrimination, employment contracts, whistleblower claims, and handbook development.

Sally has tried and arbitrated more than 100 cases. Sally's prolific experience and success in her practice of professional liability and employment law has made her a recognized leader in these areas. She has also become an avid speaker and published author in these areas of law. Sally is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an organization comprised of the top members of the trial bar from the United States. In 2004, she was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an organization dedicated to the preservation of the civil jury trial. Sally has been named by Law & Politics' Super Lawyers®, since 2003, one of the Top 50 Female Super Lawyers®, for 2010 and 2011, and in the Top 100 Super Lawyers®, 2011.
