Susan Larson is an associate attorney who focuses her practice in the area of Workers’ Compensation. She represents insurers, third party administrators, and self-insured employers in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Susan is one of few attorneys who is knowledgeable about laws governing Minnesota and Wisconsin workers’ compensation matters, and has the ability to advise clients regarding situations involving choice of law between these two states, and to provide training for clients familiar with one of these states but new to the other. Susan splits her time between the Minneapolis, Minnesota office and the Hudson, Wisconsin office. Susan has represented clients before the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings, Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals, and Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. Susan has been a regular speaker at the firm’s seminars since joining the firm in 2006 and contributing author and editor to the firm’s Wisconsin Worker’s Compensation Update.
Susan is fluent in Spanish, has studied in Spain, and traveled to various Spanish speaking countries. Susan and her husband Joseph live in White Bear Lake, with their two daughters and two shelties.
