Selma is a vibrant and passionate attorney with an undying curiosity about the world and its inhabitants, and she uses this energy to consistently provide zealous advocacy to her clients. She practices law primarily in the arena of worker’s compensation, but also has experience in business litigation, personal injury, and estate planning, among others.

Selma received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2018, with a double major in Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature (CSCL) and Political Science. Selma held several leadership roles in student government while at the U of M, including serving as At-Large Representative for the College of Liberal Arts, and being a member of the Board of Directors for Student Legal Services. After college, Selma went straight to law school and graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2021, where she received her Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Selma served as a writing associate and then became the Digital Editor for the Mitchell Hamline Journal of Public Policy and Practice.

Outside of lawyering, Selma spends her time reading memoirs of powerful women, tending to her 4 varieties of orchids, and wedding planning. A history and fashion buff, Selma regularly enjoys perusing the vintage boutiques of the St. Anthony Main neighborhood, hunting for antique art and furniture on social media, and stalking the Minnesota Digital Library Archives for historic photos of places she frequents around the cities. She is very competitive at bar trivia, and her happy place is a dog friendly patio on a summer day in Minnesota, spent with her fiancé John and their Pug, Romeo.
