Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A. has announced the election of Jeffrey M. Markowitz as shareholder at the firm.
Jeff has been with Arthur Chapman since August 2015. He co-chairs the firm’s appellate practice group. He also spent more than two years clerking for an appellate judge, and has since participated in 28 appeals (and counting). When not on appeal, he spends much of his time defending businesses and public entities in district court. He focuses his district court practice on employment litigation and employment counseling. That practice also includes business disputes, class-action defense, and products liability.
Jeff also co-chairs the firm’s COVID-19 Task Force. He has written e-blasts and presented and co-presented multiple webinars hosted by the firm and professional organizations, to help others navigate the frequently changing legal landscape surrounding COVID-19.
For the last three years, Jeff has been on the list of attorneys recognized as a Rising Star® based on his high level of peer recognition and professional achievement.
