Congratulations to attorneys Nicholas Strafaccia and Jonathon Zentner on a recent arbitration award in excess of $700,000. Our client served as a General Contractor for a public project. The Owner halted the project due to the negligent work of a subcontractor.
Nick and Jon successfully negotiated a resolution with the Owner and the subcontractor to keep the project moving forward, while preserving all claims between the parties to be litigated at the close of the project. Ultimately, Nick and Jon prosecuted a claim against the subcontractor and after a full week of arbitration, obtained an award for repair costs, disbursements, attorneys’ fees, and pre-judgment interest.
