Lucy’s practice focuses on automobile law, insurance coverage, construction law, and medical malpractice. She previously clerked with our liability team, gaining valuable experience in these areas.
Lucy earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kansas. She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. While in school, Lucy was a student attorney for the Sports & Name, Image and Likeness clinic where she helped counsel student athletes on contracts with brands, agents, and collectives.
Outside of work, Lucy loves to stay active. She enjoys running and trying out new activities, most recently pickleball. She also loves following the Kansas Jayhawks basketball team and attending Twins games at Target Field.
Why did you decide to go to law school?
I decided to go to law school because I love learning and there is no better field to go into to be a lifelong learner than the legal field with its wide variety of practice areas and ever evolving laws.
What are you most excited for in your role at ACKSP?
I enjoy how ACKSP really values building relationships with their clients and other members of the legal community. I am excited to be a part of that and contribute to fostering those relationships.
What is an interesting fact about you?
In college, I had my own radio show!
