Yusuf is a J.D. candidate at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he is actively involved in student government. He brings prior legal experience from a Minneapolis law office, where he worked on a range of matters including personal injury, real estate, and trusts and estates. His work has included drafting motions, conducting legal research, and assisting with case management.
Through the Twin Cities Diversity in Practice 1L Clerkship Program, Yusuf will spend the next seven weeks with our firm and our corporate partner, Life Time, Inc. gaining exposure to a variety of practice areas and in-house perspectives.
Yusuf grew up in Minnesota and earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Justice from the University of Minnesota, with a minor in Leadership. During his undergraduate studies, he also studied abroad in Tokyo, Japan, focusing on comparative international law. We are excited to have Yusuf with us this summer and to support the important work of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice.
