Corey works with a variety of construction industry stakeholders, including general contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, design professionals, and owners, with many construction-related legal challenges. Corey and the Arthur Chapman Construction Law team handle a wide array of construction related legal issues, which range from contract negotiation and disputes, site injuries, to defect claims, delay claims, mechanic's liens and bond claims, among many others. Clients and colleagues call on Corey for not only his legal skills, but also rely on his knowledge of the construction industry. Corey has approximately ten years’ experience working in the construction industry on residential, commercial, and institutional building projects, in both trade and management positions, prior to starting his legal career.

Corey also volunteers his time by serving his community using his construction knowledge. He is an adjunct professor teaching construction law for construction management students at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He also uses his experience in construction and construction law as a city councilman for the city of Greenfield, MN. While Corey has a full schedule, he enjoys downtime with his wife and kids, completing various construction projects, and spending time in the great outdoors.
