Elizabeth C. Pahkala

Elizabeth is an associate in the Workers’ Compensation practice group. She advises employers, insurers, uninsured employers, and self-insured employers on a wide range of workers’ compensation issues and assists in managing claims through litigation and resolution. Having worked with the firm’s workers’ compensation team throughout law school and now as an attorney, Elizabeth brings a strong understanding of Minnesota workers’ compensation law and a practical approach to client service. Her experience includes drafting pleadings and motions, representing clients throughout discovery and court proceedings, including depositions, judicial conferences, and mediations, preparing matters for hearing, and supporting clients in achieving favorable outcomes. 

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys yoga, gardening, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
