Biography

Joe has a national subrogation practice and chairs the firm’s national subrogation recovery program. His philosophy is that effective subrogation recovery strategies should focus on more than cash recovery and, where possible, should address and attempt to resolve the civil liability and workers’ compensation issues of the case. Joe is known for architecting creative global resolutions that maximize subrogation recovery while also resolving the workers’ compensation aspects of the case.  

Joe has published a comprehensive set of educational materials designed to maximize subrogation recovery and lectures extensively for clients and trade associations throughout the United States. He is an active member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), has published articles in NASP’S national trade magazine, The Subrogator, is a member of Minnesota's NASP Chapter Committee, and regularly serves on the faculty for NASP’s national conventions.
