Pilar Garrido

Pilar works with the Construction Law Practice Group, advising general contractors, subcontractors, insurers, and other businesses and representing them in litigation. She also assists with employment matters and bankruptcy-related proceedings.

Pilar brings extensive professional experience to her legal career. During law school, she worked in the firm’s Construction Law Practice Group and completed a legal residency with Judge William J. Fisher at the United States Bankruptcy Court in the District of Minnesota. Prior to attending law school, she worked in residential real estate for over a decade. She significantly impacted many students as a high school social studies teacher at both St. Paul Central High School and Eden Prairie High School. These experiences strengthened her communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, which she now applies to her legal work.

Outside the office, Pilar enjoys music, biking, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
