Theman R. Taylor III

Theman’s practice focuses on Construction Law. Prior to joining Arthur Chapman, Theman represented individuals in personal injury cases, honing his skills in analyzing complex legal issues and advocating effectively on behalf of his clients.

Theman earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Reno, as a Western Undergraduate Exchange Scholar. During his time there, he interned with both the Washoe County and Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Offices, gaining valuable experience in their criminal and civil departments. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. At Berkeley Law, Theman was a member of the Berkeley Business Law Journal, where he contributed articles on developments in finance and business for "The Network," a blog published by the Berkeley Center for Law and Business. He was also selected as a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) 1L Scholar, recognizing his commitment to fostering inclusivity and excellence in the legal field.

During his third year of law school, Theman worked for the Pac-12 Conference, gaining hands-on experience in business and litigation matters while refining his research, legal writing, and transactional drafting skills.

Outside of work, Theman enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks with his dog, and traveling to explore new places.
